By using the tools of the arts, Ryan strives to make ‘Uplift’ a home for new talent in Northern Ireland to be nurtured and developed as he knows how much of a positive impact performing arts can have on the community and how much it will benefit the youth of our generation. Ryan’s positive and addictive energy has inspired hundreds of young people in Northern Ireland through school workshops and at the Uplift branches. Since Uplift started Ryan has directed countless amounts of productions and was the head production director for Northern Ireland’s first ever Dinner Theatre in 2012. Over the past few years Ryan has spearheaded the international PA workshops with Uplift in England and the USA.
In 2017 Ryan was contacted by the Young Americans to become a guest director. He went out with the UK & Ireland cast directing. In the summer of 2017 he also was asked to go and direct in Japan and Germany with the Young Americans and looks forward to more opportunities in the near future.
